Little Acorns
Little Acorns is situated in Wickham, Hampshire. It is a 2.5 acre site of paddocks and stables which has been lovingly developed over the past eight years since it was purchased by the Growing Places charity.
The converted stables offer toilets, suit & boot stores and an indoor classroom area. An area of raised beds is the perfect invitation to plant, grow, nurture and harvest fruits and vegetables. The main paddock offers free play with a mud kitchen, climbing and balancing structure and tyre swings. There is a fenced garden which is home to a yurt, discovery cabin, mud kitchen, bug house, fire circle and a bench to rest and admire the space. A second paddock homes some fruit trees and open space to explore.
Children at our school will visit Little Acorns one day each week throughout the academic year.

“we love nothing more than a bath and a good run around the field, foraging for slugs, worms and insects”.

Chocolate and Marshmallow
“We came to Little Acorns when we were just 8 weeks old. We were orphaned lambs and have spent our whole lives in the company of children!”
